The Challenge
The Regional Medical Center's original flooring had reached the end of its service life after years of continuous use. The vinyl composition tile in corridors showed significant wear paths, while patient room flooring had developed maintenance issues that made infection control increasingly difficult.
The critical constraint: the hospital operates around the clock with no ability to close wings or redirect patients. Any flooring work had to happen around active patient care, with strict infection control protocols and noise limitations.

We developed a phased installation plan that divided the project into manageable sections, each coordinated with hospital administration and nursing staff. Work in patient areas was scheduled during lower-census periods when possible.
